South Florida based Jamaican Music Industry Pioneers Honored

In St Thomas and St Croix USVI in Parks and Theatres

Throughout the United States in London, Birmingham, and Yorkshire England and throughout Europe.

At 40 something and semi retired she shares her Florida home with various charitable organizations and is very active with various community and charitable groups, and is actively involved as Board Member of many City projects, Educational Institutions and Foundations, she is the proud recipient of various local and International Awards for her benevolence, community service, dedication and service to the Caribbean communities, one of her many accolades includes; The Keys to Miami Dade County from Mayor Pinelas for her outstanding contribution to the South Florida Communities, the Jamaican Music Fraternity and her role as the Founder of Nostalgia In Gold’s Women of Excellence Award which is now in its 11th Year. She is the very proud mother of Daemion, Jody and Robert Paul Jnr -and Grandmother of Daenecia and Janese Black.

Willie Lindo, veteran musician and producer and owner of the Heavy Beat Label now based in Florida ,who have over the years produced Reggae luminaries the likes of Beres Hammond, Nadine Sutherland, Cynthia Schloss, Marcia Griffiths, Dennis Brown, son Kachief and daughter Nekiesha Lindo among many others.

Bunny Goodison Musicologist, King Stitt original sound operator and ‘Toaster’from the Studio One Era, International Reggae Artiste Nadine Sutherland and Beresford Hammond The Fabulous Five Band and American Guitarist Andy Bashford formerly of Lloyd Parkes’s We the People Band were among the honorees.
